Elli Hemberg painted landscapes and portraits with a curious style. In the later part of the 1940s, she first switched to abstract art and eventually from paintings to sculptures. In the 1970s, she created architectural sculptures where she payed a lot of attention to the settings and the light within the nearby surroundings.
